Watersprint Solo® Nautic is an innovative all-in-one solution that combines activated carbon pre-filtration and UVC LED water purification for the treatment of freshwater, which guarantees safe drinking water on board.
The Technology
The cutting-edge UVC LED technology ensures effective water disinfection by inactivating harmful microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses, all without the use of toxic chemicals. The powerful activated carbon filter further enhances water quality by reducing chlorine, taste, and odors (CTO) as well as volatile organic compounds (VOC). UVC LED is the most sustainable way of disinfecting viruses and bacteria from water. High flow rates used to be a limitation, but thanks to rapid technical advances in LEDs and smart system design from companies such as Watersprint, LED-based systems are now at a competitive alternative in applications previously dominated by conventional UV lamps.
